Drugs make people do stupid things sometimes. So does being young. Wasn't he 17 or something like that? He made a very poor decision in doing what he did, but let's not pat ourselves on the back here because se are somehow above him. He had family and friends that loved him, and enough youth left to be able to turn himself around. SOme of the best drug counselors are former addicts, and some of the best youth mentors were once delinquents. Let's not forget the person's humanity here, or are we all that much more superior?

I read it when I posted it. My point is that everyone has to be accountable for themself. Including the guy who got shot. Bottom line is you put yourself in a dangerous position when dealing in drugs. Buyer, seller or otherwise.
if you participate in a drug deal are you a drug dealer someone who deals in drugs, the buying and selling of dope?
what do the parents say, certainly not--- that is not a drug dealer that is my baby.
If you buy drugs you are a consumer or user, if you sell you are a dealer.
Bottom line is this, if he was home playing his XBOX he wouldnt have been in a bad situation that turned deadly. Even is mayberry,..... I mean Summerville.
