We will be on vacation there in 2 1/2 weeks and was just wondering about Loggerhead's Beach Grill on W. Ashley.. I have never noticed this place and we have been there many many times... how is it.. looked at the menu online and looks pretty good.. the deep fried Oreos is what caught my attention

Thanks!

It is where the old Roadhouse used to be........chatted with Yvonne (one of the owners on FB some and she seems really nice)
I have heard really good things about it, we haven't had a chance to eat there yet.
Hopefully on our next visit...

Yes, we are planning on going to Bowen's Island! Have read alot of great things about it.. can't believe we have never stopped in there! We are trying to eat at new and different places this year, instead of the same ones...I can't wait to have some more "Award Winning" She Crab soup again... you know everyone there has it! It's always good no matter where it is!

Also, Crab Shack, Locklear's, Lost Dog Cafe (great breakfasts) Rita's, & Taco Boy are good and worth a try while you're at Folly. Friends say BLU is good too, but I haven't tried it.

Yes, we always go to the Crab Shack and Lost Dog.. Love them!! Went to Locklears last time we were there, 2 summers ago, I think that was the first year it was there.. we liked Starfish Grill just a little better.. it was good just not as good in my opinion. Plan on going to BLU in the Holiday Inn also. Oh I can't wait.. I LOVE Folly.. wish we could mover there

@maddie0929--I discovered Fried Oreos last summer at The Bistro at Bohicket (Bohicket Marina out on Seabrook Island). Let's just say, they're angels' food:-)

We attempted to make them at home and had some success. But it sure is a lot easier to order them.

They had deep fried oreos at our "local fair" last fall but just wasn't brave enough to try them at the fair but they probably would have been great anyway LOL
SCBeaches... Starfish had the best calamari ever.. My 9 year old tried it there when she was 3 and she fell in love with it.. but for the longest she thought it was chicken! So I let her think that for a while.. it's still one of her favorite foods! Their Chip A Which's were awesome! Starfish just relocated right? We may have to stop in there but it's just not the same if you aren't looking out over the ocean
