That sound "anywhere USA" to me, minus the coal mining. But you get what I mean.
To the OP, also look on charleston help wanted dot com. It used to be a helpful place to find local job postings.
She must have some reason for going specifically to Charleston, but if that is not the case they actually are hiring here, especially in healthcare fields right now.
Better Charleston Jobs would be an ideal website to search. Also, the Charleston Area Alliance is useful. Just do some researching and you can find all sorts of useful opportunities!
I just moved to Charleston from Morgantown four months ago. The job market is horrible here as compared to the northern cities. Wages are lower too. Also, I thought I was a seasoned West Virginian as I moved to the state over 25 years ago and raised my kids here but there is a HUGE difference down here. Had I known what I know now, I probably would not have moved here.
