New Catholic High School in Huntersville? (Charlotte, King: registered, county, elementary)

So...is there going to be a new catholic high school in Huntersville or not? I have heard that Christ the King is a new school that will open. However, they were waiting until last month to see if enough families registered. Any one know whether they are opening or not?

Apparently a final decision was supposed to have been made this past Monday, Feb. 28. Haven't heard any news yet, but you could call the Diocese and ask

Heard from someone today that the Diocese is announcing that yes, Christ the King Catholic High School will open somewhere North of Charlotte for 9th and 10th grade in the fall of 2011.

In this economy I am surprised, but pleased.

Actually I am not surprised the new school is going forward. There is a real need for another Catholic High on that end of the county, especially given how very popular St. Mark's Elementary is
