having opened up off by the Harris Teeter on Sardis Road North? I thought I saw one, but just did a search and can't find the thread. Can't find the gambling place either.
I tried gambling, harris, teeter, and sardis, which were all in that thread. It was posted within the last few days. I live near there so the title caught my attention. I went by there today and didn't see it.

This is weird.
I did a search and pulled up threads about gambling machines, and stuff re: SC and Gastonia, lol.
Can you remember anything else about it? Where was it supposedly located? I am wondering if it was an "old thread" that someone tacked new info onto . .. maybe????
Sometimes you may want to search Google for any missing threads. If a thread was deleted and or is missing sometimes you can pull up the thread with google cached.

That would explain it. I didn't notice the OP date, but I think it was that day (a week or two ago) and a couple people responded that day with interest. Even if it was an old thread, I've lived near that HT location since before it was an HT and don't remember a gambling place. Those are usually pretty sketchy places, and I'd be concerned if one was that close.

Maybe it was deleted, but wouldn't it still show up as deleted for a day or two? Maybe not. Please, do go by there and tell me I'm not missing it.
BTW-the thread I supposedly remember didn't mention sweepstakes. It said gambling, and that's what caught my eye,
