Stupid question, I realize... But my husband and I just moved to Mooresville, NC. Where we're from, there are curfews, etc in place on Halloween and kids are only supposed to be out at certain times.
I live in Harris Village on the east side of M'ville. The kids here usually are out btwn 5:00 & 8:30ish trick or treating. I don't answer my door after 9:00 pm. There's a few houses here up at the front end that really do it up with lots of haunted, scary stuff that jump out & grab you. It gets very busy up there. I'm in the back end of the subd, usually get about 50-60 kids. There's going to be a church group set up by our pool area at 5:30 giving out free hot dogs, candy & popcorn.
Thanks for the replies. I had my first trick or treater about a quarter after 6. We handed out all our candy by 7:30. Of course my husband was handing out gobs of the stuff....
