Did he request Tofurkey? I'm a vegetarian and I don't eat Tofurkey. There is always plenty to eat on Thanksgiving, especially since I make sure I contribute to the meal by bringing some veg friendly dishes.
I'm sorry, but it's his choice of diet. I care about him and life is not about treating others how you want to be treated, it's about treating them how *they* want to be treated. If he wants a tofurkey I will do my best to accommodate that and there is no need to judge his choices. They're his, not mine.
In response to the most recent post I see at the moment, yes he did request a tofurkey, not just tofurkey which my husband got in the deli sliced style but an actual tofurkey with stuffing and gravy.
Anyway, thank you for the input on where to find one. I did end up at Earth Fare. They had a whole meal but they also had just the tofurkey and some vegan gravy that worked for him. He was happy with it in the end so it all worked out well. Thanks again for the input, I greatly appreciate it.
not judging him but it always seemed odd to me when vegetarians want a fake burger or hot dog.
I agree. It is pretty silly. Sort of undermines the whole no meat thing when you seek to consume objects shaped like animals... I guess it's more about the tradition and being involved though.
Just wondering, where does one hunt for a tofurkey? Do they run? Are they small and hard to shoot? Do I need a hunting license to take this interesting game?
JH, I don't htink anyone was judging or anything like that. Just a little poking fun. I guess it is a little hard to tell than from a serious post in the internet, huh?
Hey, I like Tofurkey! Trader Joe's and Earth Fare are the places to get them.
