And I can't get up!

Well, no . . . I DID get back up . . . but twisted my ankle, wrenched my shoulder, slammed my wrist, etc etc.

And the jacuzzi is not working.

The one time I desperately need to soak . . . and hubby informs me it isn't working right. I think some problem with motor (DUH).

So . . . PLEASE HELP! I need the name of a repairman. Any suggesstions are much appreciated. I am assuming someone would have to know something about jacuzzi motors . . . ??? Otherwise, I would just call a good electrician.

Suggestions are very much appreciated. Now, back to the tylenol, and alternating the ice packs and heating pad.

I don't know any jacuzzi repairmen, but it sounds like you should call 911. Or the Scooter Store.

Oh, ani, get better soon!

Maybe some egg nog and cookies will help you feel better in the mean time.

Ani, so sorry about your fall. One of the things that I fear in my older years.

I still have the scars from this summer from when I fell and got a piece of metal in my leg and then had a heavy door fall on me a week later. Didn't stop me though. LOL

I can't help with a repair person for the jacuzzi but I have been known to give some good massages.

Dadgum right, MSM. The kids were here and my dear son poured me eggnog fortified mightily with Southern Comfort.

That, along w/ the ice packs, helped get me through the wee hours of the morning, lol.

I'll be better by Christmas. I just want Santa to bring me a REPAIRMAN!!!!

How are you on shoulders and feet? LOL

Dern - that sounds like an awful fall - metal in the leg? I fell down carpeted stairs inside . . . my ankle just "gave way" so I twisted it and down I came.

I could use a good massage since the jacuzzi is out.

My foot slipped off a narrow step and my leg dropped about 3 ft. down. The metal bracket scraped along my leg until it found a nice soft spot to embed itself. Ten stitches to close that one up.

Sort of funny because I have been relatively uninjured most of my life. Now that I am in my 60's, I am taking a beating. Just happy that I can handle pain fairly well and never took a day off because of these mishaps this year.

Sprains and backaches are what affect me the most, so I know how painful that must be for you. I really feel for you.

And this is not a good time of the year to be hurt. Cold weather is not going to help it.
