Mooresville weather humid? (Rocky Mount, Boone: live in, location, humidity)

Happy New Year! I currently live in the Rocky Mount, NC area, and am looking for a location less humid. Would like to stay relatively close to family in Winston. Love the outdoors...hate the humidity! Can anyone compare Rocky Mount to Mooresville regarding humidity? Thanks.

Looks like Mooresville is worse than Rocky Mount-may be fact that we have the lake.

If being closer to Winston is a goal, and you love the outdoors and low humidity, look at Boone or other towns in that direction on the mountain. Otherwise you're in NC and unfortunately it's pretty bad anywhere.
