We bought a house in Cherry Grove yesterday.
I get to move in 8/1 and we close 8/17.

Pretty excited.

Thanks, everyone. We love the house we ended up with.

We had high hopes that we would find something in a "certain subdivision." We were appalled at the conditions of the homes people are trying to sell. Many of them didn't even bother to clean. The interiors were destroyed, animals were running around loose during showing, dirty dishes in the sink, filthy gag-inducing litterboxes. One family wouldn't even get out of the house while we were there. Very awkward.

Just goes to show, you don't know what's going on behind closed doors in those beautiful brick houses.

OMG That happened to someone I know when they went to look at a house here about 2 years ago. The sellers beautiful long haired cat came running down the stairs with a turd hanging off it's butt. Instant gross-out!! I did hear about terrible conditions in one of the houses for sale in my subd just this past week. I guess it's really being sold "as is" since it's a foreclosure. Hope it wasn't anything here in my subd that turned you off, lol!!
