Jerry Richardson sounded like a slave owner in the interview I heard when he finally broke his silence and scared Luck into going back to school. He has Cam (as long as he doesn't get tattoo's) and now he won't have a problem filling seats.

Not sure why people don't like the arena..that's a plus IMO. Call me crazy but when I came to Charlotte to visit and I saw the arena downtown it felt like Charlotte was a progressive city. The arena empties and people spill out into downtown and spend more money.

Nothing worse IMO then riding 40 minutes outside the city to watch a game.
Dang felt you just like to argue for the sake of arguing. I've met 5 owners in my life. MJ Dan Synder. the owner of the ravens, Bob Johnson, and Jerry Richardson. Only two jerks are MJ and Synder. Synder thinks way too highly of himself, and MJ just isn't right. The things he says to total strangers, you just don't do that. Ravens owner was polite. Bob Johnson is all class, and Richardson is as well.

In my line of work I meet way too many famous people. Really wished I didn't Its more bother than its worth. I was a huge MJ fan growing up, and I wish I never met him.

As for the arena I think the location is great. there is just something about it on the inside. I can't explain it. Maybe it had something to do with the fact it was empty. It would feel different I guess if it was full to the brim with screaming fans.

Who is arguing? I'm giving MY opinion...

I think people expect MJ to be a nice guy because they loved him as a ball player.

I never said MJ was a nice guy.

It sure wouldn't hurt if he was a nice guy. Would you want to do business with an owner who is a jerk? I wouldn't.

I met MJ (Michael Jordan, not Magic Johnson) and all he wanted to talk about was his underwear.

Its not helping matters is just added to the long of issues that the bobcats have. I doubt they can ever be successful under the current model in the NBA. Add in MJ and all the other issues, and they are ripe for failure. It will be interesting to see how long he stays. Bob Johnson almost lost his whole fortune over this team.

It wouldn't hurt his reputation but it probably wouldn't help much either....

If we get a high flying superstar in the draft it won't matter how nice or how much of a jerk MJ is...

It's not like MJ is greeting me at the coliseum door and walking me to my seat. 99% of fans will never meet MJ.

Probably not. They're currently the 2nd smallest market in the league and getting smaller. The league and David Stern pretty much crippled them with that blocked trade last month. I honestly think they should be contracted at this point.
