Around Tryon and Bland. Google maps is a bit out of date - the apartments are not done yet.

The 24-hr diner is two blocks north at Carson Street. I think this is still an empty lot used as parking for the Gin Mill and Amos's across the street.

A detective tip for next time, I found the location by researching the name of the gallery on the board in the picture.

I believe in the same philosophy .

Thing that threw me for a loop: in the picture, across from the new apartment structure, is a building with bold faced letters (partially blocked) that read "ARD". Somehow I was under the impression that I took the picture in the First Ward.
