I often get soup instead of an entree at area restaurants - which ones in Charlotte offer good soup? It does not have to be a large selection of soups at a time: I'm looking for restaurants where the "soup of the day" is usually outstanding.

I love soup! She-crab soup at Eddy's Place is always excellent. Any pho at Pho Hoa will blow your mind. Matzoh ball soup at Katz is crave worthy. There's a sushi place in Cotswold called Koishe that has a hot and sour seafood soup that's pretty fabulous. I miss the french onion at Good Ole Days!

Bedder Bedder & Moore always has fantastic soup. As a bonus, it automatically comes with your meal.

If you're not particular about the TYPE of soup, then places like Panera or McAllister's have decent soup.

For me, I like pasta fagoli (pronounced FAH ZOOL) which is an italian soup...

Not every place has it and can make it right.....

Brooklyn Boys in Mooresville makes it. My DH says it's pretty good.

+1 on Eddie's She-crab soup

I've never had soup at Koishe but everything I tried there was fresh and delicious so I imagine the soup would be good too.
