After hearing both sides, I gotta say that the arguments against the Stadium moving Uptown hold some weight. Hopefully, they'll hold a vote

If it does make it uptown, it'll make my commute shorter. Just hope they provide free parking for employees. I haven't heard any of the recent info on the planned move/new stadium yet, but I'll probably know more in 2 wks.

Insannne I tells ya!

I've walked past that plot of land with the sign. I certainly hope that's not th eonly place that it's going to be, because it would be a pretty damn small stadium. I'm conflicted on the uptown thing. I live in Fort Mill, and like being able to be so close, but I'm originally from Buffalo, NY, where the minor league baseball team has their stadium downtown, and it's really nice, and just a fun time overall.

I would love to go to some Knights games, but there is no way its worth driving all the way to the stadium from Huntersville. I have been to a couple, but the drive is just not worth it. If the stadium moved Uptown, going to a Knights game would definitely become a regular family outing for us.

I'd check them out if they were Uptown. Since they're currently in Fort Mill, I have no interest in making such a long trip all the way down there. Not worth it to drive from the University area.

For those who think it's a long drive from "insert your town here", how many of you go to Carowinds? It's just one more exit on I-77 from there. It's a fun & affordable day/night out with friends & family. You don't have to go to every game, but a few wouldn't be so bad. When I lived in NY it was a longer drive from Putnam county to Yankee Stadium & I went there every Fri & Sat. I make the drive from Mooresville to Knights Stadium all the time since I work there.

If & when it moves to Uptown, it's going to cost alot more for parking, tickets, food, beverages & souvenirs. Just sayin'

Yeah but when they put in the light rail in Mooresville it will be an easy train ride to the stadium!!!! Oh.....wait. Dang it!

Seriously though, I love me some baseball and will probably make it to a Knights game or two this year hopefully with the son being nearly 5 and able to take stuff like this a little better.

I just don't want to be forced to pay for yet another venue I get almost nothing out of. Someone said in the comments attached to the link I provided that if it was such a great business idea, then private business would jump on it.
