Not common at all.

What you can find is apt complexes with rows of garages that can be rented in addition to the apt rent.

My last apartment building had a three car garage on the ground floor, but there was no separation between the three stalls. Only the renters of those three spaces had access to the garage.

It all depends on where you live. At Providence Court Apts, they have garages attached to some of their apartments. Only you the renter have access to the garage, which leads into your apt.

Post Properties at Phillips Place has two options. If you are in the front buildings, there is an underground garage. Or there are some apartments that have 1 car garages attached to them. It is a great location too - walking distance to South Park mall.

Many of the units at The Fairways at Piper Glen have attached garages. But as lovemts stated, it's more common to have rows of detached garages.

Some Camden properties have garages attached to the apartments - Camden Stonecrest is one that has them - but they go fast. Also the Apartments at Blakeney have attached garages with some apts.
