Heard of Yard Art Day? I'm so excited about it! Can't wait to ride around on Monday, checking it all out.

» Yard Art Day

Artists and not-identified-as-artists, pro and amateur, are creating and placing some type of art in their yard on Monday, September 3rd.

Love this quote from the instigator:

“It is my dream that for one day people remember that child within them that likes to play creatively without any judgment or restraint. And to show the world that Charlotte is so much more than a banking town. And for us all to get insight into the city in which we live – to cross neighborhood boundaries. To be inclusive. Art can do this.”

- Deborah Triplett, Yard Art Day creator

It's not too late to sign up! Native_Son, maybe you can put some of your metalwork out!

I am hoping to reel in my hose by tomorrow. Forgive me, but I just had to add the fertilizer sprayer before the "Fall" actually came. Remember....... One man's junk is another man's art!!!!
