^I remember it too. I bought a lot of records at Grapevine, aka Camelot. I suspect that those days are long gone. The middle class mostly left and the city is notoriously bad at buying private property in order to "correct" things, but their usual follow-up doesn't match their rhetoric. One look at Scaleybark and S. Blvd is a prime example of that.
Good point. I agree, it's just a shame. I guess I just miss the days when F R O G G E R wasn't some slang word! LOL
O I C. Pedestrian bridges would be nice. It would probably cost as much as it does to build one as it does to clean up all the dead bodies from people playing *******.
EDIT: Seriously, a video game from the 80's featuring a frog hopping across a busy highway is on the banned word list? Is the ban list pulled from Urban Dictionary or what??!!
Oh man, i miss playing *******. I used to play ******* all the time with my ******* playing machine. When you play ******* as much as I did, you can definitely become a ******* addict. Now for a little fun.
I was minding my own ******* business when this ******* woman came up to me and started ******* me. I pulled out my ******* and ******* her all over the place. The ******* never saw it come. The way I ******* her left and right it was a ******* nightmare!
I saw today where the big car dealer building across from Wendy's on Independence is almost gone now. And the building that was next to Buffalo Wild Wings at Crown Point is gone too.

Was that the Crown Point restaurant? That place wasn't too bad.

This area being torn down was right in the middle of the place to be in charlotte for action many years ago when the old coliseum was in its heyday as the worlds largest domed roof structure. Elvis and all the famouse people stayed at the hotel across from south 21 and the old pancake house stayed very busy after the big shows at the coliseum .The hotels stayed as the crowds left and seedy types started hanging around.
