It proves CMS has and will be a major attraction and notary for Charlotte.
I hope it gets it, I dont know much about the other cities but CMS could well accommodate skateboarding in center field, BMX, Moto X on the dirt track and RallyCar and on the track.
Charlotte Motor Speedway has done a lot for this city than the others venues ever had.

Just hate that it really would all be at the Motor Speedway and not in Charlotte. .... if they somehow incorporated the Cable Box, New Knights Stadium, and/or BoA I would be more excited about our bid.
Given that the X games includes Rally Car and Moto X racing (cars & motorcycles) I don't see how you could have it in downtown Charlotte. There are no facilities for this.
The race track is a perfect fit because not only does it have all the proper venues with the necessary support infrastructure, it also has the production equipment and expertise to televise all of it.
The car and motorcycle racing stuff has to be outdoors, yes, but the things like the skateboarding, bmx stuff, and the best motorcycle trick competition are often done inside a big arena, like the Cable Box. My guess is that they would split it up between a two or three venues (CMS, TWCA, and a large surface lot where they can do the street skating competitions.
The Velodrome in Rock Hill will also be used if Charlotte gets the games. And yes, from what reports have said, the TWC Arena will be involved as well as the tracks at the speedway.
