If you've ever worked for a boss where you see idiot decisions constantly being made that make your life/job even more difficult you could understand why he probably felt that way the last few years. Anyone, except Mr. Richardson (and eventually he did), could see what Hurney was doing to this team each and every year at the helm and I'm sure that wore down Fox after a while.

I guess it was the supporting cast that got us there similar to what happened with the Ravens when they were in the big game with Dilfer as QB. When Jake lost his mojo our weaknesses were quickly exposed....No QB, only one decent receiver, and a weak secondary. These problems still plaque the team as well as a new problem...the O line.

I think Gettleman will fix things but it will take some time. I hope Cam is "the guy" but his inconsistent passing and his inability to go through his check downs quickly and get the ball out worry me.
I am going to say that Carolina/Patriots superbowl was the best one (for me) in the last 15 years. I know some Giants fans would disagree but that game really could have gone either way. It was a classic shoot out and sort of like sandlot football, who ever scored last would win...

I don't know what happened to the Panthers after that though...
