So my husband and I are moving to Charlotte in the summer, and we are trying to figure out the best areas to rent.
Here's the situation as it stands:
I will be attending Wingate University
He will be working somewhere in Charlotte (TBD, job pending)
We are from Southern California, and used to traffic.
Where in the area should we be looking if my husband can maintain a commute of less than an hour during rush hour?
We were thinking the Matthews area, or as far as Mint Hill or opposingly, Ballentyne.
Again, the problem lies in the idea that he could be working as far as Gastonia, or Rock Hill.
I am attempting to maintain a commute of less than 30 minutes or so (but willing to be flexible, as is he).
So, in essence, where is a good place to be to keep the traffic to a relative minimum for both of us?
(Sorry for the lack of details, but that's what I have going for me right now. ACK!)
