Any recommendations for playsets. Looking for a good value. Been looking at all the big boxes like toy r us, costco and bjs but i would think a local company may have a better value. Any help would be appreciated.

We just had one installed. The local playset places were absolutely outrageous! We would have paid 3 times what we did if we went through them. We bought one on Amazon, had it delivered, and hired a local guy to assemble it. Voila.

We bought a kit from I can't remember if it was Lowes or Home Depot and built our own. So we were able to customize however we wanted. I've got 2 slides, a ramp to climb up, rope ladder, to climb up, a fort, monkey bars, swings - just lots of stuff. Of the quality is excellent since we did it ourselves - but as Energee said, you can find someone to do it and I'm sure it would be fine. The kits included hardware and components and we chose the wood from the treated wood section.

Quality was great. It's a Backyard Discovery (I think), which is a brand also sold at Sams and Costco. Buy it yourself and have someone build it is the way to go. We've done that twice at our two past homes.

Research Gorilla it is a great value. Don't buy the really cheap ones. I almost bought a Rainbow, really expensive, but very well made. They are a good value when they run promotions.

I had a Gorilla I put together in my last house, in my current house I went with a play nation, they are the same company. Gorilla is more DIY and Play Nation is their Install program, they are also a little higher quality.
