Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the Major phone company that services Matthews/Charlotte is? I know from the newcomers guide there are lots of smaller providers, but what is the largest and most established (ie Bellsouth, Verizon etc)

My new complex suggested "Windstream", but I would rather go with a company I have heard of before.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Matthews is serviced by Windstream. In most cases, you do not have a choice.

Ugh. Well, thanks for the info.

What about Time Warner, I heard they have a phone/cable/internet bundle? Does anyone have good or bad things to say about their phone services?

To be honest, I am using ATT in 28277- Ballantyne and I just figured they would go anywhere...maybe I should check on that :-)

Time Warner is a good provider, as far as cable companies go I'd far prefer them to Charter or Cox. They're phone/cable/internet bundle would probably beat out anybody else's prices. Maybe except for some smaller provider that I've not heard of.
