I hear lot of of people have good things to say about Farmer's insurance. Anyone have any views about the same or is there anyone else whom i should contact as well. How about American Family or Liberty Mutual ? Any thoughts and any agent names that can pass.

I moved from denver, co to here and expect the values to be the same, or little lesser.

I would definitely give the NC Farm Bureau a call. We just got insurance through them and their prices, for the same coverage, blew us away. We had GEICO and were going to switch to Progressive until we called Farm Bureau.

Default Not Available in this area

I was a loyal Farmers Insurance client for 25 years. Arkansas, Oklahoma and Virginia. However, when I moved here I learned that Farmers Insurance does not operate in the Carolinas. I selected Allstate and have been happy with them. Call Tina Jordan-Nelson in Pineville, NC. 704-889-9601. They write policies in NC and SC.

I checked them all out before going with Erie Insurance. They were better coverage for less money.

Guys. as i told i moved from colorado to here a few days back. The insurance rates are too high... i had a quote for around 900 for my two vehicles 6 months there and here the least i am getting is 1800 and most is 3000. i could be owning a home rather than cars given this choice.

I am paying $900 per year on 2 vehicles, a 2007 SUV and a 2001 mini van. You must have accidents or tickets on your record. Possibly a young driver under 18?

We're paying $800 a year for two vehicles - a 1999 pick-up and a 2002 minivan. One ticket and one accident on our records. We were getting quotes around $1300 a year from most companies. We found the $800 rate at Farm Bureau, and that's not the lowest coverage offered, it's a step up from what we were paying $1400/year for with GEICO (and they increased us to $2200 when we moved!)

My insurance in Charlotte was $600-700 per year for one car. It's a little higher in SC si pay about $800 for a little less coverage.
