Just wanted to thank everyone for your advice. My wife and I signed a lease last week and we'll be moving end of February. Looking forward to the change.

I signed a lease with Strawberry Hill. Our first choice was 1420 Magnolia, but the earliest they could start a lease for a 3 bedroom was March 6th. And unfortunately we told our existing complex we would be out by the end of February.

Im guessing that you will be commuting at standard times, but honestly the family communities of Huntersville and North can't be beat. School may seem far off now, but perhaps you'll still want to make that a consideration as you get acquainted with the area. If you decide to look in the Mooresville/Cornelius area.
Good luck with the move!
