There's a place like that in Indian Trail as well, on Indian Trail-Fairview Road, right near where it crosses Independence. Can't remember the name, but I drove by it a few weeks ago...
There's place called Weekday Gourmet on King's Road right next to Boone fabrics. As I understand, it you make the food in their kitchen - they do the shopping and cleanup. You make quite a few meals at one time. People at Boone's, where I shop, say it's tasty food. Contact them to find out the real story - I don't pretend to know all about them.

There is also Something Classic on Central Avenue near the Plaza. My neighbor buys about half of her dinners there each week and finds them very good. I tried it a couple of times and liked all but one of the meals I bought . It was too bland for my taste, but the others were very tasty.
One of my book club members was telling us about a place in South Charlotte where she's shopped. I'll see her at book club on Monday evening and ask her about it.
Dream Dinners is the one in Indian Trail mentioned above. I don't know if they have frozen meals to take home though. Dream Dinners - Dinner Franchise - Meal Preparation Franchises
There is a Super Suppers (well a few weeks ago they were there) near CMC/Levine Childrens hospital, don't know the name of the street, we walked there from the hospital when DD was there...and they have frozen meals ready to take home (bought a few to have after DD got home), they were ok, not great but it may have been what I chose. OK, maybe the name wasn't super suppers, 'cause they're not listed on the super suppers website. It was on East Blvd across from the blockbuster there (the actual reason for the walk in the first place)
