Ditto on the discount greenhouses. Speaking of which, a woman who was decorating for a party at the Mint Museum told me that she had bought the plants for the party at a place that was (I think) called Growers Outlet near Carolina Place Mall. Does anyone have any info about it?
Barb - don't know about it but now that you have mentioned it - I am going to see what I can find out!!!!

It's cut from the same cloth as Super Target and Super Wal mart. The furthest south I think they are located is in Kentucky.

Greek Isles is a GREAT Greek restaurant. Don't know about a German bakery, but the Waldhorn restaurant in Pineville is pretty darn good.

I had someone tell me about this place so I drove out there and had a look, wasn't that impressed on the plants and the prices. We ended up going to someone in Monroe and brought all plants for the backyard at what I thought was okay prices for what we got.

We brought a beautiful rose plant at the Farmer's Market off of 77 the rose color was something I had never seen before..I would go back to the Market to get plants anytime.

Thanks, groove1. But I don't like the Greek Isles at all. Went there a couple of times for lunch. The food is not very authentic. On the lunch menu for example 5 out of 10 meals are with pasta or maccaroni. Not considering the beefteki with tomato sauce!!!
