I always interview my doctors - they are aware of it too. I also tell then about my past, my family, and my passions. My theory is that in this way they will see me as a person rather than as a Medicare or BCBS #. I also am able to see whether or not they are going to push me out or hang around and chat for a while. If they're not willing to chat for a while, I find another doctor.
My Dr. is Dr. Gavigan and he is great. I have heard that Dr. Scholz is great too. His wife is Dr. Sara Sacco who has a headache clinic. I have worked for her and she is wonderful. Not to get off subject.

don't worry the test is not bad at all seriously I did it with no sedation. It just feels like mild cramping and pressure from the air. The worst part is the prep b/c it is super gross and you will be hungry and tired from it!
I wasn't too impressed with Charlotte Gastro. Other than the actual procedure, I only saw a PA and it takes like 3 months to get an appointment. I see a doctor over at Charlotte Digestive now in Pineveille. Going for an endoscopy Wednesday

Just curious. Why were you not impressed? At first you reccomended them and said Dr Gavigan was doing you procedure. Now you don't like them.
I ask because I am supposed to see the same Dr day after tomorrow for a consultation to set up a upper adn llower GI.
twice now and love him....I saw another dr. with the same practice at the southpark location and did not care for him at all! He answered his cell phone while he was in the room with me and it was a personal call about his car!
I called them and they said she is no longer working as a gastro due to family
