Looking for an off-airport car rental (Cary, Concord: rentals, taxes, zip code)

I'm looking to rent a car for a few days.The prices when renting at the airport are double with the taxes the city charges.Any suggestions.

Turo. It's an app. You rent cars from private people. It's kind of like Airbnb but for cars. I've used it twice. Once in Nashville and once in Cary

Don't rent at the airport. Follow CLT4's advice. Turo's a good app, but prices may be high if the OP's concerned about airport-tax rental surcharges.

If you need a place to park a different car, I’d recommend the ones inside malls. For example, the Avis locations at Carolina Place Mall in Pineville and Carolina Mall in Concord are inside Sears Auto Center, so their rentals are all just parked in the parking lot and yours can blend in.
