Looking for a rental house, moving to Charlotte permanently from Oklahoma. Willing to pay up to 2000. I have 2 dogs that have very little pit in them. I understand that will make it difficult but I cannot just give my dogs away.. it's out of the question.

Also willing to pay extra deposit, and whatever else the landlord would require. A fenced in yard would be a huge plus, but at this point I'm pretty desperate.
Anything will help.. Im at a loss here..

Focus on describing the job that affords a $2000 budget for rent.
(In my world that sort of number means well over $100,000 of gross income)

And don't even mention the problematic dog issues but do look for fenced yards.
Just show up with the dogs and let the LL be introduced to them.
If they're well behaved...

I indeed have the income. I should have written the question better. I just wasn't sure if I would even receive a response.
I have moved here for work.
I'm not looking to withhold info about my dogs, I'm just having a hard time finding anything.

Also, the pups are very well behaved. Never have been problematic by any means.

I only plan to rent for a year.. I would like to buy eventually, but not until I find exactly what I want.

Have you applied and been denied or are you just not sure where to start with looking for a rental home?

On just Zillow there are 1,391 Single Family Homes available for rent in Charlotte with rent below $2,000 a month. 806 of them have indicated "Pets are Allowed." Surely one of those is an option and you don't have to become desperate?

I've looked, applied and pretty much have been denied solely because of the breed..
I was hoping to possibly find a private home owner to rent from by using this forum.
Basically all realtors I've been in touch with is a no go.. and that stems from the companies insurance policies.
Therefore, yea.. pretty desperate

Respectfully

You could improve your chances by posting in the Charlotte board not general NC.

You could also pay a Realtor to help you.

When we moved to Charlotte we rented month to month at a place called The Colony in South Charlotte.

https://www.apartments.com/the-colon...te-nc/g3g5wmx/

Their month to month prices are higher than what is listed, but we didn't want to commit to a whole year.

We had a dog at the time.

It is not a house, but we rented a 3 bedroom townhouse with a small fenced in area in the back.
