Free Wi-Fi locations? (Charlotte: hotels, house, buying) - North Carolina (NC) - City-Data Forum

Hello,

My family and I will be traveling to Charlotte tomorrow (driving from FL with two kids -- wish us LUCK

). Although we're staying at a hotel that offers free wireless internet, we're looking for other spots around Charlotte that offer Free Wi-Fi to help us as we travel around town. Any suggestions???

Any coffee house will have them as also. Most places wil lsay on the door free internet. Not to sure about just driving around town but you know some people think it os ok to just plug in the linksys router!

I know this won't help your situation for tomorrow, but feel it necessary to share. Cingular now has that 3G service where you basically have a broadband connection all over Charlotte. I have had it on my PDA almost a month, and thus far I am very impressed.

Wow, Me And My Wife And 2 Kids Are Going Up There From Fla Also Were Leaving Tomorrow The 26th, To Check On The Spec Home We Are Buying In Fort Mill, We Were Up There A Few Months Ago And If You Park Outside Some Hotels You Can P/u The Signal Real Good . Also Try Library;s And Stuff Like That...where In Fla R U From ? We Are Moving Up In 3 Weeks... To Ft.mill
