Anyone been here. What kinds of things are inside? Any restaurants? Good shops? Is it worth going? All i've heard about is the large indoor kids playground.

The kids area is WONDERful and the best part of it so far. It only costs $1 for an hour but you do have to watch your kids. It isn't like Monkey joes were they check bracelets and there is only a short little fence surrounding the play area.

it is new so there are many empty stores. Or at least there was a few months ago when I went last. I have't gone recently because the weather has been too nice to play inside although I will probably use it more when it gets very hot.

Haven't tried any of the restaurants other than a lite snack. Apparently the only mexican restaurant is closed on Mondays!

I went a couple of weeks ago to meet a friend for lunch. It is kind of like a very low end mall. There were a lot of privately owned shops and kiosks that sold mostly junk that you can find in Dollar Stores and Odd Lots. There was a large outlet store (clothing, but can't remember name).
The play area is surrounded by a large eatery. I liked that none of them were chains and really enjoyed the greek food we had at one of them. I doubt this place will make it for the shopping, but see it as a good place to go if you are at Carowinds and want to break away for a reasonable and air conditioned lunch. JMHO..........
