We have too many other players up for new deals to chase a free agent QB class which won’t be much.

I think it is in Charlotte’s best interest to support him since we need him more than we think.
Darnold should be the QB starter next season. He is one hell of a lot better than Newton. We could also use a team that is a little better as well. In both cases with Darnold and Bridgewater, the team didn't make them look very good. Also, Mcaffrey will be back next year.

It doesn't matter who the QB is when the O-line is Swiss cheese. They could have prime Joe Montana out there and it wouldn't matter that much.

Boy, that's the truth! How many times last game were the Bill's lineman in the backfield before the snapped ball reached Newton?

I’m not a big fan of the guy myself and don’t like a lot of his antics but there is a reason many in Charlotte were thrilled to have him back.
I was teaching in the Florida university system when Newton was arrested. He was often in trouble at UF. His football skill was the only thing that made it possible to transfer to Alabama. I knew staff at UF. You should maybe wake up and choose a better class of idols. He is one lucky person to be a thug and a millionaire.
