If he can play anything resembling respectable QB play, we have to bring him back for 2022 at least, and that should be the hope of any Panthers fan who pays attention to the GM side of things. I think it is in Charlotte’s best interest to support him since we need him more than we think.

Darnold should be the QB starter next season. He is one hell of a lot better than Newton. We could also use a team that is a little better as well. In both cases with Darnold and Bridgewater, the team didn't make them look very good. Also, Mcaffrey will be back next year.

It doesn't matter who the QB is when the O-line is Swiss cheese. They could have prime Joe Montana out there and it wouldn't matter that much.

He has been very active with yearly turkey giveaways around Thanksgiving among other community work. Hell the year he only played in two games in 2019 he was nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the year award.

I’m not a big fan of the guy myself and don’t like a lot of his antics but there is a reason many in Charlotte were thrilled to have him back.

I was teaching in the Florida university system when Newton was arrested. He was often in trouble at UF. His football skill was the only thing that made it possible to transfer to Alabama. I knew staff at UF. You should maybe wake up and choose a better class of idols. He is one lucky person to be a thug and a millionaire.
