I would have preferred them to remain FOX46, but apparently they wanted to distance themselves from the FOX News Channel. They often use their in house News Nation in place of FOX News coverage.
I rarely watch any other local newscast other than Queen CIty News anymore. They have their share of production issues, but I like the people on the station better than any other station in town. Forget his name, but the 4 pm co-anchors seems to have left. Don't see him listed on the station's website anymore.

Same thing this morning. No live news show on WBTV. Same replacement shows. Even listed that way on the TV guide screen.

Good to see Leigh Brock again on WSOC this morning. Hopefully that's a regular gig for her now.

Yes very nice to see Leigh Brock again on WSOC. Informative, pleasant, and appealing. Seems like a big mistake for Gray to release her from WBTV. I would like to see her made a permanent addition at WSOC, but I heard she is only now on a fill in basis. We shall see. I will also miss Maureen O'Boyle when she departs. Such a shame to see Gray reduce salaries or cut contracts if that is the case, as they are losing major talent at WBTV.

Amanda Cox on Queen City News has just posted that she is leaving, sounds like it's her choice. Ended her On Air career as a meteorologist. So, they will be looking to add another meteorologist. If Leigh Brock is not signed to a contract there, could be another potential landing spot for her.

That would be a great spot for Leigh Brock if WJZY would choose to sign her. I think her deal with WSOC is only a fill in basis although I wish they could find a spot for her there. We shall see because I would speculate that Steve Udelson may choose to retire in a few years.

I think Tara Lane also does a very good job. Knowledgeable, pleasant presentation, appealing personality. Same as Leigh Brock in that regard.

I liked Tara Lane more when she was on Spectrum / TWC a few years back. Now she almost seems like a celebrity on QC News. She does seem to be a nice lady and cool mom.

Prominent anchor Maureen O'Boyle signed off WBTV Friday night. Pleasant, professional and appealing personality, she will leave a major void and be greatly missed.
