Hilton Head, Kiawa, Charleston, Wilmington, Smoky Mountains, Mount Mitchell, Linville Falls.

Costa Rica has been by far my most favorite in the world.

Here's a few reasons why:

Well, when I was stationed in Ft. Bragg, N. Carolina sometimes (on a 3 or 4 day weekend) my husband and I would take off for Myrtle Beach...I loved Myrtle Beach.

We love Hilton Head...especially for bike riding on those wonderful paths. Also love Smokey Mountains. We used to have to travel 15 hrs to Hilton Head and 8 to Smokies. So exciting that now they are just a few hours from us. Looking forward to trying out new places in between.

Blowing Rock for mountains; Charleston, Kiawah for lowcountry beach in the Carolinas.

7 Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

Interlaken, Switzerland for European resort (Hotel Interlaken - reasonable $$$)

Lausanne, Switzerland for Spa
Glacier National Park for sheer outdoor awe in USA
Prince of Wales hotel, Waterton, Canada and Fairmont, Banff Springs

Paris for romance . . .

Thanks Barb! I definitely suggest you put CR at the top of your to-do list. Maybe put it on the top of your hubby's "honey-do list."
