Just wanted to let you know our family is moving to south charlotte or ft mill within 6 months. I have checked out the schools and been to pineville. It had a lot to offer for a small town close to a big city but when I looked up the elem school rating it was not that great. We live an an area now that has a school rating of 8 or 9 in ohio. Pineville is char/mech cty school and the rating was 5 or 6. If you go to google and type in school ratings in nc you will be able to research schools
We have been looking at matthews or ft. mill. We are going to rent 1st too. We want to spend about 850-900 month. I am not sure if we will find that price range.
I am in healthcare (skin cancer surgical and medical asst) as well and have a job in ballatyne waiting for me in nov. My husband is in sales but will come without a job.
Good luck.

[quote=CHRISNNEYA;4563484]WOW CALM DOWN LOOKING FOR POSITIVE FEEDBACK ONLY......sorry, but I was trying to tell you that you'll need to narrow down your areas(and then giving you examples that you or your spouse would understand) and then in my next post gave you the link to the school system. Using all caps means you're yelling at someone. My intent was not rude. You yelling at me was rude. Good luck in your search!

Chris, I think you got off to a bad start on this forum. I suspect you misunderstood RGregg. He/she was really trying to help you. My advice is to start over and ask your question with more info: price of house, size of house, suburban or urban neighborhood, etc. Folks on this board are incredibly kind and go way out of their way to help newcomers.
