Are you all in Union County? Monroe's water must be cheaper. I don't water my lawn, I've come to terms with the bermuda grass. It's only me in a 2900 sq ft house and my water bill, which I got last week, was for $9.99 exactly! I guess I won't complain!

Our bill in June was $50 and July it was $131. Talk about a hike! We are in Meck. County.

Examine your bill. Mine went way up due to increase on sewer costs, mainly. Bigger lot, more sewer costs. I was pretty upset, too. Our water use was NOT up - we gave up on our lawn so we are not watering a lawn. Despite all that, my water bill has doubled.

himain - Those paper plates are cheap and fairly enviromentally friendly! Saves running the dishwasher quite a bit! I have enough clothes to last about 2 weeks or more so I'm only doing about 6 loads of laundry a month! A 10 min shower a day and I'm good to go! Most of my plants, indoors and out, I water with a watering can. You can get that water bill down a bit with a little planning!

I live in only a apt but two years ago my water and sewer bill was only like 3 bucks, now it's like 30 bucks and we haven't changed the way we use our stuff so rates are going up!
