Around 10:15pm last night the City of Charlotte decided to turn off the water in part of the Universtiy City without warning. Did anyone else experience this??
My husband just came home, for the same reason as QC. They are sending all non-essentials home, but he is returning to CIC, it's so quiet with no one there, he's planning on getting alot of work done.
I just got an email this morning from my office saying that the building is closed because the water is shut off and they are expecting it all to be fixed sometime later today and open for business tomorrow.
Til then I'm poolside...
Here's the email I got:
"The Charlotte Site has been closed due to a water main break and consequently, no water at the site. The Site will tentatively reopen tomorrow at its regular scheduled time. You will be advised via lotus notes as soon additional information is received. Additionally, updates can be obtained by calling the Site emergency contact numbers..."
