Lowes near HC is due to open Nov 3rd I believe. Anyone have any idea on completion date of Wallyworld??? I don't believe they've even really started on that though.

Seems as though Wally World construction is on hold. The sign has even come down. Hope that doesnt mean they've killed it though!!

WHAT! Where were they going to put that Wal-Mart? Did they have to built the Lowe's so close to the road. It looks way tooooo big!!!

I really hope they continue the WW project. I never even saw the sign for it..Where was it??

I agree Pooch! The lowes looks huge to me and I say it everytime we drive by it

I don't know as much as I should about consumerism but I am really blown away by the number of Lowe's in this area. I noticed the one being built in Waxhaw, and the one in Monroe along 74. There's already one that is adjacent to the Wal Mart parking lot.

What gives? Even in NJ, I've never seen so many shopping opportunities in my life. I feel the same way about supermarkets. I won't even go into how many Food Lions there are within 10 miles of my home. I am sooooo not kidding. It's bordering on absurd, or maybe it's beyond that already.

If you were going north on Odell School RD, cross over Concord Mills Blvd- the new Lowes is on the right. The new Walmart was supposed to be just a short distance further, also on the right.
