Okay, so it has been a couple days since I have ventured outside the Belmont city limits....but wow. I thought i was getting a deal paying $2.84/gallon at walmart (regular unleaded), but today i ventured to Gastonia and gas was $2.59!!!!

Is this an early Christmas present???
Where are you and what are you paying???
Do you think this has anything to do with the upcoming elections? By the way....Rudy Giuliani just called my house for John McCain and Michelle Obama called yesterday. Are you getting calls too???

I think part of it is the elections, but not all of it, otherwise OPEC wouldn't be looking at decreasing production to get the price back up!! Still $2.99 in my neck of the woods.

If you happen to get down to Celanese Road in Rock Hill, it's 2.45.

We filled up on Celanese Rd this week ... it felt so good ... to see the gas hand register more then half a tank. When prices soared buying gas in Lake Wylie and Newport $50.00 would just barely register half a tank.

Think you have your numbers mixed up. $2.99 BJ inspection only.
$299 is for full service
