But on other things . . . simple daily things . . . I am overly analytic and sometimes, quite dense. For ex. . . . I decided to buy a large box of cereal, as it was cheaper. But it did not fit in the space where I usually keep cereal. So I was in the process of rearranging a different shelf, so I could find a spot to put the much taller box of cereal.

A family member walked in, asked what the heck was going on . . . I explained . . . and she walked over to the cabinet, turned the box on its side . . . and . . . well . . . problem solved.

That is typical Anifani. Give me a project to manage and I will not only outline strategy, assign duties and timeline, and never miss a detail . . . Give me a needle to thread and I will stare at it for a while, trying to figure out the best approach, HEE HEE HEE.
That's hilarious! My father always used to say I could screw up a one-car funeral! ha, ha, ha.

I am also very analytical, but, usually vote for the most simple or well-known way of doing things when I am under stress, even if something else appears to be easy. That way, I can just go on auto-pilot and not worry about something else!

Have you been typed using the Myers Briggs indicator? I am always so curious . . . I am an INTJ and we are a screwy bunch, I readily admit.

I just committed snail murder

DD found a small garden snail this morning and put it in a cup to observe it. Dummy me is trying to multi-task and while on the phone I start clearing the lunch dishes AND grab the cup with the snail.

Snailie is now in my garbage disposal. I tried to find it but can't. DD is in tears now and it's all my fault. Thankfully she was happy to hear about snail heaven and all the lovely things they get to do there.

Ugh, is it Friday yet?
