Bah! It seems like it will be a really cold winter, I hope there is not too much snow and ice. I have seen enough of it for several lifetimes.

You folks can "look at" and "be in" all the snow you want......in the next month or so we will be heading to Florida to live (Northern part). Yes, we are leaving your beautiful State, after 1 year of living here! My hip replacement and shoulder (rotor cup surgery), just can't stand this cold of weather and, like another poster.......we've our share of snow/freezing temps for a lifetime!! We will take the possible hurricane, tropical storm, heat and humidity over cold, cold temps and snow! If it snows enough this winter, in the Charlotte area, you folks can have a blast throwing snowballs and building a snowman. Oh, and keep that snow shovel handy. We've already got rid of ours!!

FYI LB-it still gets into the 20s-30's in Northern FL so I'm not sure who told you that you won't have cold temps. I lived in Jville and numerous times it was in the very low temps

Hope you will be more comfortable in FL, LB.

You may have given that snow shovel away too soon, tho. We could get a nice snow in the next week or two - b/f you leave. Ya never know . . .

I am reading these posts and laughing. Looking out the window at the snow falling on top of the 4 inches we already have. The temp is 20 degrees and I wish I was "freezing" in our house in Birkdale Village. Tomorrow off to the PSU-MSU in State College. Hope I don't get frost bite.
