Aspergers Support Group (Hickory: moving, office, autism)

I am moving near Hickory and am looking for a support group for Aspergers Syndrome.It is a form of Autism.

Anybody invloved with such a group?
I will be willing to drive in to charlotte, if need be.

Also, there are many Yahoo Groups dealing with Autism and several are NC specific. Just go to yahoogroups.com and do a search on "autism nc."

You could also call the Autism Society of Mecklenburg County for information. Even though you won't be in that county, it's a very helpful office and they'd likely be able to steer you to more local resources.
