It seems like every other thread on the forum is about crime so I was looking into a getting a security system for my apt trying to be a little proactive.
There's obviously a ton of different systems available from ADT to Skylink to Ingrid Home Security. I'm assuming that based on the amount of crime in Charlotte that several posters have security systems so I'm curious to get some feedback on which ones come highly recommended.
I am very happy with CPI and use their systems at my home and business.
I also recommend the cellular backup option since there was a rash of break-ins in the last 24 months where the perps were cutting the power AND telephone lines before entering houses.
We do not live in the hood or in fear, but IMHO it is smart to be prepared.
CPI has invested in a large call center visible on 485 near Tryon, so I know they are here the the long haul (and employing locals).
NO connection whatsoever with the company, just a satisfied customer.
Good Luck!
Some Marketing Manager can not even spell Marketing right
Does anyone know off hand what CPI charges for installation and what a typical monthly bill is? Also do they run any coupons in like Clipper or local newspapers on any sort of regular basis?
I cannot stand it when people cannot spell. (Though I admit there's a decent amount of discussion over which is correct) - (I also admit I had to go back into this entry to correct a typo and probably left/overlooked another one)
I think they do free installation on some of the promotions they run. No coupons in mail. Tv offers though. Give them a call.
My bill is $46.90 a month with cellback up included.
