I hear that they are opening a third Jersey Girl Bakery in the Charlotte area. Does anyone know where that will be located?

No, but one thing that can improve here is the Bakery business, and unfortunately Jersey Girl wont do that

I agree. I was never impressed with them. It doesn't look like anything is made on site except for sticky buns, and I'm not sure about them. I'd like to see a good, old fashioned Italian Bakery in this area. Also, a good butcher so I don't have to drive to Fort Mill for my meat!!!

Went there once. Prices were ridiculously high.

Interesting, I like the one in Matthews and stop there from time to time. I'd go to the Starbucks, get a cup of coffee then go there and get something sweet.

They are opening one in the Blakeny Shopping Center on Rea Road is what I heard. There's already one in Ballantyne. I think they are absolutely awful, and think it gives New Jersey a bad name. The pastries have absolutely no flavor and are dry, and the bread is no better. It's just completely mediocre, and I'm shocked they are spreading the way they are!

I am with you on that...Jersey Girl is a disgrace to the name. A good Jersey Bakery is like Heaven LOL

Maybe they're not using "Jersey" water, LOL! I found Panera Bread to be a decent alternative. I wholeheartedly agree, there is such a need for a really good bakery and butcher in this area. (Mom-and-pop style, though!)

You really don't want to get into a NJ vs. NY discussion about ANYTHING! Trust me!
