If you do not have a working visa and are just visiting I would suggest, KEEP AWAY. It can adversely affect you and ur sponsors . Regarding babysitting most of it is by word of mouth ( I am sure u understand , entrusting children to somebody's care etc). Enjoy for four months
thank u so much but U know ı need a job for 3 mounts,so ı think babysitter is a good idea.
coz ı wıll work in their home so ı dont have to have working visa.
do u have any suggestion?
thanks..
Anytime someone pays you for providing a service, whether it's in their home or not you must be legally able to work. There are people who will pay "under the table", but not likely to post on a public forum. People get busted all the time for illegal "domestic" help. This includes housekeepers, gardeners, and yes, babysitters/nannys. This is also to help protect you.
None of us knows a thing about you, so it puts us in an even more difficult position for you to be requesting this type of information.
ı just wanna work for improving my english, and also if ı earn money ım gonna spend it there and come back my country with nothin..ım not comin there 4 money just improve myself...
Please read some of the international news about nannies - many are sold into prostitution after they arrive for their job. Many are kept as slaves, yes even in the US, by their employers, who also expect the husband to have sex with the nanny. Be very careful! A school exchange program is so much safer!
O god!ı never thought something like that.maybe u r right,who knows.
ok ım gonna try another ways..
but ı tried to come with school exchange program but it doesnt work in charlotte..
Do you have a religious affiliation? If so, check and see if there is a mosque/church in the area. They can't help you get a job legally, but they might be able to help you with a place (or places) to stay that would cut down on your expenses. I did that when I was 18 and went to Florida for 2 weeks. Ended up staying with a wonderful lady. She didn't want any money but I gave her some anyway to help with food and utilities - was still less than a 1/3 of what I would have paid for a hotel.
What in particular is bringing you to Charlotte? Do you have friends or contacts here?
I say try the Internation House. They have conversation hours for various languages. Just Google them...
