Please explain to me how they located you. I mean how did his tag number connect them to you here? I am intrigued, and ignorant apparently.

Honestly, I really don't know which website, etc. this family found to locate my cell#. She told me that she input the dog's tag number and there it was, my info. All he had on his collar was a township license tag, from New Jersey, with a number (not a phone number, but a serial number), so who knows. All I can tell you is that I am so greatful for these wonderful people!
Glad to hear you got your dog back....A while back we had problems with illegals stealing dogs for fighting just happy this wasn't the case this time.
I'm probably going to get in trouble for posting this, but that was really funny in a very twisted kind of way. You should contact Tina Fey, she would love that kind of stuff, (comedy writing, I mean).
