HI I HAVE A 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, MEANING SHE IS MENTALLY CHALLENGED.

IAM CURRENTLY TRYING TO FIND RECREATION PROGRAMS OR SPECIAL POPULATION PROGRAMS THAT SHE CAN PARTICIPATE IN.

IF THERE IS ANY ONE OUT THERE THAT KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THESE TYPES OF PROGRAMS, PLEASE HELP ME!

Teens Around Town: For Teens Age 13-21 with Developmental Disabilities

This eight-week community based program is offered to teenagers with a developmental disability and focuses on independence skills, social appropriateness and community re-integration. All participants must be moderately independent in all activities of daily living. Cost: $150/week.

Hope you can figure something out for your daughter though. There's a day camp center thing right up the street from me on Sharon Road West. I think they do the sort of thing you're looking for. Not sure though, nor do I know their name. (have no reason to)

This program offers support for families of children with special needs by providing a one-on-one parent match with a trained support parent for emotional support, assistance in finding community resources, and sharing parenting experiences.
