Hi,
This is my first year in Charlotte, and I see these pretty trees everywhere with either pink or white conelike blooms. Can someone please tell me the name of these pretty trees?

Default I added a picture

I was able to take a picture. I think you are right, that it is crepe myrtle, though I thought they only came in that dark pink color. These are white.

Default The vote is in, I guess Crepe Myrtle it is!

Thanks everyone for clearing up my tree dilemma! I also learned it is spelled Crape and not Crepe!
