Which area is more desirable? Waxhaw (Hunter Oaks) or Mint Hill (Shannamara)?

I don't know much about Waxhaw but I ive near Mint Hill and it seems pretty nice. Also seems like it would be a faster commute if you work Uptown.

It's really going to come down to personal preference - they both have great homes and are located in very convenient areas. You really can't go wrong in either

Shanamara

PRO: Golf course community

CON: 485 in the backyard of many houses.

Hunter Oaks

PRO: Closer to major shopping and more variety in night life

CON: no golf, maybe a slightly higher cost of occupancy (per square ft.), Stuck between Weddington and Marvin.

Hunter Oaks is really pretty, it's right off Rea and close to shopping in both Ballantyne and Waxhaw. Idk the other one tho?
