Hi!

If it keeps up, I'd have the number blocked.

I enjoyed reading about what Catrick did! That's a funny story!

Here's a similar story, though it starts out with text messages:

I received three text messages a while back, starting at around 4 AM on Sunday morning.

The first text said: "Hey, Lady T, when u wanna meet up?"

Next message, a few hours later: "U 1 fine dancer, Lady T!"

Third message: "Lady T, Call me at (insert phone number) so we can hook up again"

Finally, I called the number on the text message. When the young man answered, I let him know that this was not "Lady T's" cell phone, and that he must have had the wrong number.

There was dead silence on the phone, and then he started to apologize profusely, lol. He said, "I'm so sorry ma'am, I had no idea it was the wrong number."

He sounded so apologetic, and then so disappointed, lol--Lady T must have not wanted to see him again.

All great advice!

Thank you for the responses!

NATIVECHIEF: Hadn't thought of that . . . Maybe all those cans of spray paint I bought were misinterpreted . . . and they assumed I was a tagger.

CHI: Unfortunately, it's a recording or I would have used my limited spanish, lol.

CATRICK: If it happens again, I will call my provider - good idea!

BS and NANCY: I will definitely go back to the Do Not Call website and resubmit! It is possible I have never submitted the cell phone number.

CMHouse: That is a GREAT story. Lady T must be a heckuva dancer, Hee Hee!!!

I get a lot of calls from people asking for Miguel (I guess he had the number before me). I always put on my best Mexican accent and say "Miguel no es aqui. Wrong telefono." I also throw in other Spanish phrases I remember from school, like "Las pantalones es roja"

ROFL! Red pants, huh? Or at least I think that is what the translation is, Hee Hee.

When I can't sleep, I do spanish verb conjugations! Seriously! Thing is - I don't remember that many verbs any more . . . Soy, eres, es . . . LOL!!!
